Five steps, in this order
Who you are. The brand name exactly as written, and every other way people spell it. Assistants confuse brands with similar names constantly, and the misspellings matter.
The category. What you sell in a customer's words, and five questions a buyer would type before they know you exist. This step is the whole audit in miniature.
Where you are now. Whether anyone has looked, what they saw, and who looks after search today. "Never" is the most common answer here.
What there is to work with. Assistants quote sources. This is where we find out which sources already say your name, and which facts about you are wrong out there.
What a win looks like. What you want out of it, by when, and who acts on the report. A report nobody owns changes nothing.
